This website is hosted by a service provider in the European Economic Area. A processing contract according to Article 28 GDPR is in place.

1.) Server log files

When visiting this website, the web server automatically records the following data in log files:

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6, para. 1, letter f of the GDPR. When using this data, I can draw no conclusion on a specific person without further effort. These data are used to defend or investigate attacks on the IT structure (e.g., DDoS attack, user account brute force) and to assist law enforcement agencies in law enforcement in these cases.

The data in the server log files are automatically deleted after 31 days. Data needed to clarify law enforcement is exempt from automatic deletion and will be retained until final clarification.

2) Cookies

By default, I do not set cookies when visiting this website.

Only in case of need (for example, logging in to a user account, adding products to the shopping cart) is the system set a so-called session cookie, as used by the vast majority of content management systems (CMS).

The legal basis for cookies is Article 6, para. 1, letter f of the GDPR.

3) User account (Social login)

When you log in with Facebook, Google or Twitter, the data you have stored with the respective social network is automatically transferred to our Content Management System (CMS).

The processing of the data when you register on this website to a user account is based on your consent (Article 6, para. 1, letter a, GDPR).

4) WhatsApp Business

I offer visitors to this website the opportunity to contact me via the WhatsApp messaging service. I use the “business version” of WhatsApp from WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland.

If you use my WhatsApp contact for general and support inquiries, I will save your telephone number stored with WhatsApp as well as your first and last name in order to process the matter and in the event of follow-up questions. This data is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6, para. 1, letter a, GDPR).

Your data will only ever be used to respond to your request via WhatsApp. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

Please note that WhatsApp receives access to the address book of the mobile device I use for this purpose and automatically transfers telephone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. I use a separate mobile device with an empty address book to operate the WhatsApp Business account.

For the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing and use by WhatsApp, as well as your rights and settings options for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp’s privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea

5) Email, telephone, other transmission
